WITH DANI IN LEMBAH BELIEM, PAPUA

aku-di-dani.jpgSince young, GG had an obsession around the world. He wanted to know manything. He make a liften by a truck or train along Java-Bali (1981) for a few weeks, and the next year around Indonesia, didn’t care he had just one hand. Sometimes, the driver offered him to sit in the front, but GG was a real bagpacker and rather prefer sitting between other passangers in back of truck, talking to another. In this picture GG was in Dani Ethnic, Jayawijaya Mountain, Baliem Valley, Papua (1986). From Jayapura Airport he took off by Freeport airplane. (Translated by Tias Tatanka)
