SHARPENING THE WORLD WITH WRITING COMMUNITY

I was not in Rumah Dunia anymore right now, at least only my body. But My mind and my soul are look like do not want leave a place which contain library, stage, Sawo’s trees and some best friends who never tired pass brilliant idea on for lightning become agent of change in Banten. I have felt new atmosphere during my interaction with Art and books Community (Rumah Dunia). Mohammed the prophet said,” If you want stay in nice smell, play around perfume seller”. Ok, I changed become; “If you want to sharpness the future of your life ‘play’ around people who live among the books”.  Due to a book will bring us to the world that we didn’t imagine before. They are agent of change and persuade us to reach acceleration in life.

Still talk around friends. I had ever live in two worlds. They are politics and Art & books community. Some interaction between two different worlds brought me to made decision which will I choose. Of course it’s a matter of choice but I felt like a contradiction in how they approached the people and risen they target. In Banten-Indonesia, democracy like tulip flower in spring season. They were thinking that society changeover can be reach by domination in politics. I know, we are really dreaming about innovation and clean government with educated people. For me it’s a matter of approach. Politics and the tools approaching people by rigid and make your hair stand on end. That’s Friend!, Its enemy!, Its Danger!, That’s Ok!, Its like pour solid particle into vessel which not perfectly filled. There are remaining small holes. Its different when you filled it up with such as liquid. You can imagine that. If your brain ‘box’ filled up with crystalline which remaining small holes and that holes transformed became ‘free radical’ electron because they need to be neutralized. So look at!, people who live around in politic arena never satisfied. Too much free radical electron in their head!  But the fact, our student already started like politic. Some agent from party gives contribution too. They recruited some student and turn around atmosphere education in the school becomes politic simulation. So on, Market, majlis ta’lim, office, masjid, were filled by political atmosphere. Really hot there!, caused free radical electron which come from holes in their head and it push continuously us to release energy.

It feels different if you live around art and books community. Every hole will be filled up by ‘letter and words’ boon. They will never leave one hole remain in your head.  If the letter and words flooded then they will become expression. The situation so liquid. Off course you need ‘cook it’ becoming ‘crystal’ then will glittering in your life. If that was happened to you whatever your profession  you are really wiseman.

Now I live in UAE. I called this country with the name “ Sand, wind, and Sun’s country”. Because three all of that as the colors. The different of temperature is so extreme. Sometime I feel not comfortable, to keep my mind stay enjoying I have to try hard to feel the spirit from the stage, library, the blowing wind among the trees in rumah dunia and some faces of my best friends keep in freshly by the time. Deceptively they are talking to me,”come on Jack, keep write your journal and tell your story to us!’. For me its difficult to intensively be present in all agenda of Rumah dunia anymore. Such as books launching, discussion, making film, etc. So what I can do to day just visit rumah dunia’s website, send a message, keep writing as I can do, try to be sponsor for some programs, etc. I thing my obsession, I want to reborn Hajar Aswad in rumah Dunia. Some day, If I have enough money I want to produce poetry in music concert at Banten. Some time I pray for all my best friend at Rumah Dunia to have a chance traveling the world so they can write everything about this life. Yes, A pen and Words are like bridge for us!.

So, keep fight my dear!, At Anniversary the fifth of Rumah Dunia we will try to put the world at our hand by keep writing. If this year I were in UAE and Ibnu in Leiden, so next year I wish any one of you can traveling to Africa or USA. Who knows you will get a curse from The Traveler “GOLA GONG”. The founding father of Rumah Dunia.
